Thank You Food Allergy Community

I have never met such kinder and compassionate people than the people that I have met in the food allergy community.  It is so nice to be able to turn to people who only want to uplift you.  Even if we deal and manage food allergies differently, we all get it.  We understand the fears and the worries that we all experience.  The fears from any food your child ever puts into their mouth, the fears of leaving your child with a caregiver or sending your child off to school every day and praying that you never get that call, the fears of sending your child to play with friends, going on sleepovers and going to birthday parties.  The list can go on and on.  The point is, we all get it and understand.

I never ever wanted this for my child, but I am so blessed to have all of you in our lives.  I feel as if I am a better person.  I think we all become more compassionate and understanding of other's needs.

I am not sure what the future holds for all of our children, but I know they will be surrounded and supported by an amazing community.
