The No Nuts Moms Kid of The Month for May 2015 is Kenzie. Kenzie is 8 years old and is already a world traveler! In fact, she's involved in so many different things that I am just glad she was able to slow down and share some information with me.
Even though Kenzie has traveled the globe, she still makes time for her education and is excelling in the second grade. She's very lucky because when she runs into some tough subjects, she can rely on her step-brother Caleb or step-sister Kirah for help.
Kenzie is one of the most involved kids I know!! This girl is the definition of athlete. She loves cheer-leading, soft-ball, and basketball. My jaw dropped when I learned that there was more. She's also active in Girl Scouts. As if all that wasn't enough, Kenzie is also very active with the Cancer Hope Ministry.
With a plate this full, it's hard to imagine that Kenzie has much downtime but she does carve out time to watch her favorite movies; Teen Titans, Amazing World of Gumball, and Adventure Time.
I asked Kenzie what her favorite color is. I had expected an answer like red or orange since those both exude energy but apparently Kenzie has a very mellow side. Her favorite color is aqua. That sounds so very relaxing. Aqua.
When Kenzie isn't traveling the world, playing sports, or working on Girl Scout projects or working with the Cancer Hope Ministry, she loves to kick pack and work on arts and crafts. She is also learning to pick at the guitar. No surprises here, but after receiving a surprise Christmas gift, she's also entering the world of bow shooting.
After all this talk of traveling the world, I had to know just where all Kenzie had been. Last month Kenzie went on her very first cruise. She had the great fortune of visiting Belize, Cozumel, and Honduras. She had such an amazing time.
Keep your eyes peeled. If you ever see a flash, it is quiet possibly Kenzie.
